INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Technology & Innovation Association (ITIA) today released the following statement in response to Governor Mike Braun’s appointment of former state representative Chuck Goodrich as Indiana’s next secretary of commerce:  

"As a business leader, innovator and passionate advocate for workforce development and education, Chuck Goodrich is an outstanding choice to serve as Indiana's next secretary of commerce,” stated Jennifer Hallowell, ITIA executive director. “During his time in the General Assembly, we worked with him to advance shared priorities like funding for K-12 robotics competition programs and Career Scholarship Accounts. We look forward to once again working together to support Hoosier entrepreneurs and innovators and advance Indiana's innovation economy.”
